On October 26, on the eve of the Motorist's Day, the third professional skill contest was held at «UDS Oil». This time the event was attended by drivers of vehicles for the transportation of special fluid from the motor-car shop of the motorcade №3. The contest consisted of two stages — theoretical and practical.
At the first stage during testing, the participants demonstrated knowledge of the rules of safe road traffic and the rules of transporting dangerous goods. Andrei Kenderev scored the maximum number of points on the theory, without making a single mistake in the test. The practical part included a set of tasks, performing which the drivers of «UDS Oil» in practice proved their professional skills and ability to easily manage heavy equipment. «Slalom», parking in reverse in the conditional garage, disengagement of the semitrailer, setting the car in reverse at the overpass – the participants of the competition successfully coped with each of the practical tasks.
- What we did today is our daily work. All of this we know, we can, we do. There were no super-tasks. But competition is always the increased responsibility, therefore excitement, of course, was present, — participants shared impressions.
In terms of the points scored for theory and practice, Andrey Kenderev became the winner of the «Best Specialist» review competition among car drivers for the transportation of special liquids of «UDS Oil». The second place went to Sergei Vakhrushev, the third – Peter Gavrilov.
- I have been working as a driver for 15 years, but I manage the special equipment not so long ago – just a year. I installed a special program on my smartphone on the rules of the road, refreshed the material on the rules of transportation of dangerous goods to prepare for the competition. As a result, he passed the theory without a single mistake, – Andrei Kenderev commented on his victory. — I strongly advise everyone to try prentice hand and participate in competitions, improving their professional level.
