UDS DOBRO Charity Fund
Since 2016, UDS DOBRO has been actively promoting the society where every person feels important and needed, regardless of any health issues. We believe we are able to change positively the social living conditions of the Russian people.
The Fund’s efforts are based on the Charity Program developed in accordance with the requirements and provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, Civil Code of the Russian Federation, Federal Laws “On Non-Profit Organizations” and “On Charitable and Voluntary (Volunteer) Activities”, other statutory acts of the Russian Federation, and Articles of Association of UDS DOBRO Charity Fund.
Casework
The Project involves provision of the charitable financial support for adults and children, families having a child with special needs to sponsor medical treatment, rehabilitation or purchase of medications, as well as any other necessary assistance.
Accessible Sensory Room
Sensory rooms fitted with specially designed equipment are built under this Project. Families having children with special needs can visit such rooms free of charge. These sensory rooms are located in the social care facilities. The equipment is provided under a charitable donation agreement, which guarantees its proper use and regular classes for children given by qualified professionals. As of 2025, there are sensory rooms in 13 social care facilities in 4 Russian regions.
Aid to Social Care Facilities
This Project is aimed at accomplishing social goals in cooperation with other non-profit organizations. Such cooperation with various NPO consolidates efforts and resources to tackle social issues more effectively. Common initiatives can include events, workshops or training sessions for parents and specialists, support for sport teams, repair of social care facilities or purchase of necessary equipment for them.
Social Engagement and Adaptation
The Project involves creation of the accessible environment and its aim is to ensure social engagement of children and their families for their subsequent successful integration into the society. “We Are Different! We Are Equal!” Resource Center for adaptation and social engagement established by the Fund is one of its principal areas of work. Special needs trainers and teachers train and study at this Resource Center. The Resource Center’s focus of work is the Ocean Center for family activities.
We initiate and implement various unique social projects with the common goal to provide quality assistance to people in need. The Fund focuses primarily on the areas that contribute to social changes, such as Accessible Sensory Room, Aid to Social Care Facilities, and Social Engagement and Adaptation.
Nowadays inclusion has become an important concept, though we realize that to respond to the challenges of our time is not enough. Our approach is to actively look for new solutions and innovative methods that help to cope with social barriers and contribute to creation of accessible opportunities for the entire society. Our projects are highly estimated by the federal experts and win grants competitions. This reflects their social significance. It is important for us to gain experts’ recognition, but it is much more important to see real changes in people’s lives. Every next step of our team expands the environment for people with limited abilities and helps them to believe in their potential. With the charity projects the Fund’s team contributes to the common good and creates the more equitable and comfortable society.
