UDS oil office and field subsurface and production experts took part in the ‘Optimal troubleshooting of well production problems’ workshop. The workshop speaker was Mr. Amdakh N. Nasyrov, Doctor of Science, Professor, Oil and Gas Field Development and Operation Department, M.S. Gutseriev Petroleum Institute, honored oil industry worker of Udmurtia, honored inventor of Udmurtia.
The workshop covered operational challenges of problem wells, best practices and optimal troubleshooting methods and equipment deployed for problem wells. The final part of the workshop was devoted to questions and answers between the participants and the speaker.
The workshop topics and their discussions are zeroed at elaborating effective solutions to reduce downhole equipment failures, reduce oil losses and well services costs, optimize workflows related to the development of greenfields and increase of hydrocarbon production.
This was a first-time workshop of such format held by the company. Such events will be conducted on a regular basis for the purpose of increasing skills and expanding expertise of personnel.
